11) They post for a long time on forums and never have any new photos to show, and they still don't have photos of other online models.

And the number ONE way to spot a scammer: 1) They steal a known website and make it their own A couple of major clues that a guy wasn't legit (without having to go through the hassle of the instant messenger conversation): 1) Free email address 2) Free website Any person claiming affiliations would certainly be able to afford $25/mo. or so to maintain a real website. And, considering such an individual would obviously be using the internet as a talent resource, he should DEFINITELY have such a site! Additionally, all legitimate photographers -that I know of- provide the models with a real phone number and a real, verifiable physical address upon contacting the model.
